Time to start over

So all the photos of the construction up until now? Ignore them :p I have a bunch of photos to post , from foundation up to today where they have build the first floor and walls to the garage. YAY!! Walls and stuff are good right? Too bad we have such sucky weather this week. After a week of solid sun and in the 20's (70's for the Americans and older folk out there) it decided to get darn cold, and cloudy. Hopefully this isn't some sort of foreshadowing of things to come because we all know how Billy Shakespeare's plays turn out when shit gets cloudy and rainy. Mind you he didn't have the advanced construction techniques available today to shrug the weather off.

The hole in front of that nicely poured foundation is our hole.

This is the first shot of the actual footings. There was a big shipping container in the way when it was taken, so you don't get to see the whole thing.

First shot of the poured foundation. They decided that there was a great parking spot for a rather large fork lift right in front there, so again I couldn't get the whole thing in frame.
You can see the neighbors house behind us in this shot though. Yes that is a sliding door that opens on to nothing. I guess they didn't like the whole deck thing, and decided parachuting out the back door was much more fun.
Our first bit of wood. Behind that wall is all the wood etc piled up to build with. I have no clue what is in the shipping container. I really wasn't that curious to tell the truth, but it does keep getting in the way.

These last couple of photos are just me goofing around. They were both taken on the pathway that goes through the treed area. The houses was me playing with a quick HDR photograph. The other is the entrance to part of the pathway.

For some reason I expect to see a candy cottage at the end of this pathway.
